I came up with this while at the JEN conference in Reno while trying out some of the keyboards on display. I had about an hour in between sessions and I just really wanted to create something because I was inspired by all the amazing musicians around me. I never thought it would turn into a full song, but when I brought it to a jam session it ended up being a great vehicle for improvisation. It’s a very natural flow of ideas especially because it was written in a limited 1 hour time frame and not altered afterwards.
Described as “an ecological history of humanity,” this sparse, tense suite of songs perfectly balances melody and chaos. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 28, 2018
